Ex Works Formula 2 Tecno as races by  Ronnie Peterson at Monza in 1969 then by  Clay Regazzoni to the end  of 1969 and the start of 1970.

Many top races results in period with a win at Hockenheim in 1970.

This car is in perfect working order (ready to go) with a brand new zero hour Cosworth FVC . Just dyno tested, gearbox totally refurbished, reconditioned brake system, starter fuel pump ignition, battery etc..Plus new tyres. This car is better than new!

Formula 2 ELF for sale:sold


Just totally restored with no expense spared an ELF2 fitted with a 2000 BMW Schnitzer .

This car is really historic (only five built) The chassis is number A367-0 - the first car build in period for race in team Coombs with Patrick Depailler.

This frame was used for just 3 seasons and completed its racing history at the end of 1974

Raced in period by Depailler, Jabouille, Schenken, Leclére, and Arnoux.

Now this has a brand new Schnitzer engine fitted.

The car come with important set of works parts, 3 set of wheels, frame part, transmission, different body version

1980 March Formula Atlantic 2006 CVAR FA Championship Winning Car Original SCCA Logbook


The car was purchased from the estate of a vintage race car enthusiast in Detroit during 2002 and transported to Dallas for a complete restoration. During the previous 3 seasons, the car has been race prepared by Metcalf Racing, an Indy car quality race shop in Carrollton Texas. In addition to being raced at Detroit Speedway, the car has raced at Texas World Speedway, Hallett, Motorsport Ranch and Eagles Canyon Raceway. The car has been a consistent race and class winner and won the CVAR Formula Atlantic Championship in 2006. The current owner has purchased a 1977 FI Shadow DN8.

Car Specification

Engine: Cosworth BDD, 1600cc Twin Cam. Rebuilt by Crowther Engines. Gearbox: 5 x speed Hewland FT 200. Rebuilt by Taylor Race Engineering and fitted with a state of the art, Automatic Torque Biasing (ATB) Helical limited slip Quaife differential. Induction: Rebuilt Twin Weber 48mm DCOE carburetors. Spares: 3 x sets of wheels (two race sets, one wet set); spare nose; spare (and correct wing); spare radiator; several gear sets; spare starter motor; numerous miscellaneous carburetor parts and electrical spares.

Racing History

The majority of Formula 1 drivers learned their craft in Formula Fords. These cars were forgiving to drive and very equal in specification and handling ability. Generally, the best drivers won. Formula Ford winners progressed through Formula B (or F3000) class to F2 or Formula Atlantic before reaching F1. Jacques Villeneuve won the Formula 2 Championship in 1980 in a similar car, SN 80A/6. This car is SN 80A/20.
