Two sets of throttle bodies: one pair with long trumpets, injectors, linkages and manifold to suit Ford downdraft head; one pair with short trumpets; nicely fabricated steel inlet manifold, application unknown; electric gear pump; 3 pulse pumps; 2 control units; various bleed and equalising valves, and a variety of sundry brackets, parts and fittings. Untested, but all look in good condition, one throttle body has had a small weld repair to a threaded boss.

Lotus 907 Engine - 1970s Racing flywheel and Starter adapter kit

It was used on a Esprit S1 to utilise a twin plate racing clutch. It was supplied by Ark Racing back in the 1990s. If you want your lotus to have the throttle response of a super bike ! Then this is where you begin. Using a twin plate clutch assembly was an easy way to accommodate power capacity and reliability with less weight.

Climax 2.0 Ltr FPF Engine for rebuild.

BLOCK.Purchased new from C&G only about five years ago & had done limited mileage.Following damage to the block in a non-critical area it was repaired by stitch welding, (see photos) the block will need line boring.

CYLINDER HEAD. Following a rod end bolt failure number 1 piston hit the head, (see photo IMG 5029) the damage does not look significant, could be laser welded to restore shape, head surface is good. Photo IMG 5030 shows an undamaged port for comparison

RODS/PISTONS. The engine would come with the undamaged (x3) rods & pistons from the failed engine (not shown in photo) & also a nearly new set (x4) of rods & pistons (shown in photo) bought from C&G.

CRANKSHAFT. The crankshaft shown in the photo is not from the failed engine & is in good condition. The crankshaft from the failed engine is scrap due to overheating of the journal.

I believe all the parts are there to build a complete engine.

The Tecalemit Jackson fuel injection items have been Sold.

The block is a Ford L block with steel main caps and has S68 . 13 .330 stamped in the normal engine number position, the crank is a 5 main item with MARTIN forged on the crank and is also stamped LAYSTAL and the date April 68. The block is sleeved and has a bore of 85mm. The crank stroke is a close as damit is to swearing 57mm which is about 1295cc. The crank has standard main and +.010” big end journals. The rods are forged Holbay items and are + - 134mm centre to centre the rod to stroke ratio is therefore about 2.35 : 1. The pistons are 2 ring Cosworth F3/Junior items. The cam is marked A6 and is in good shape, there is also a second cam with longer duration – I guess about 320deg which is also as new, photo with the F I parts.

The head is a cast down draft port item with inverted retaining studs into the LHS water jacket for bolts #2 & #4 the intake ports have a light metal added and blended obviously to optimise shape and flow. The valves are stainless and have spring seats and retainers made from a high grade steel with shims under each seat, the stem to guide clearance is correct and there is no visible wear. There is one inner spring broken and there is a crack on the gasket face between the water coolant passages between cyl’s 2 & 3. The head has RWS 631 25 stamped on the machining control pads on the RHS. The Rocker shaft is a Holbay full ally pedestal unit and was not photographed as a colleague of mine is restoring it for me.

There is also a lot of Tecalemit Jackson fuel injection parts as can be seen in the photographs. The one fuel distribution unit has never been used and has the inspection tag from 1968 with the part.
