PORSCHE 911S/T 2.3 Coupe ...

It was bought as an unfinished project ... the car is a "ball tearer" and I drive it occasionally on the road.

Surprisingly docile considering ... maybe a little noisy with minimal internal sound deadening but you won't find a better example as all mods have been done to exact factory specifications.

I prefer not to call it a "replica" and refer to it as "upgraded from a 911E"

REMEMBER THE  POPULAR EARLY 1970'S. This car has been upgraded from RHD 1971 911E to European Le Mans lightweight 911ST 2.3 litre specification at great expense by top Sydney Porsche workshop Autohaus Hamilton over nearly 4 years. 911 ST's also featured in Australian Touring Car racing ... worth remembering Brian Foley, Bill Brown and Jim Mc Keown had many racing success with similar cars in the 1970's and this car is entirely CAMS legal and will pass any scrutiny.

SPECIFICATIONS. Current specification is eligible for Group Nc Historic Touring car racing in Australia with around 220 bhp twin plug fuel injected 2.3 litre engine includes all the best internals. Pinned lightweight crankcase, lightweight Pauter conrods, high comp JE pistons, RSR 906 cams, Carrera 3.2 oil pump, gas flowed cyl heads, stainless valves & Vmax valve springs, close ratio 901 gearbox (with modified short shift kit), limited slip differential, "race" suspension incl Koni's and torsion bars etc. The engine was completely rebuilt 2,000 km ago and runs on BP98 Octane pump fuel.

Fibreglass, perspex and lightweight factory panels (car weighs under 900 kg) and includes 7 x 15" Minilite style wheels, Momo racing seats with 2 x full harness race seat belts and fully approved role cage.

A new stainless (dyno tuned) special twin pipe long primary extractor exhaust was also fitted recently  by Autohaus Hamilton with even more performance gains (particularly torque) ... and the gearbox rebuilt with better ratio's at the same time to suit the engine characteristics. Car not raced since engine rebuild.

A lovely little 1983 Alfa Sprint 1700cc road legal competition car,

built several years ago for Hillclimbs and Sprints but done approximately 3000 miles since completed. However, engine now in need of attention (still runs but it’s either got a burnt out valve or a head gasket blown but I have never investigated it) The shell is in extremely good rot free condition with GRP wings, bonnet and rear quarter panels.

It’s fitted with Perspex windows and a roll cage, Sparco seats and full harnesses. Wheels are 6” x 14” Revolutions with Avon ACB10 tyres. It uses 33 type running gear with out board discs at the front and 33 rear end with drums. Suspension is via Koni shockers and Eibach springs. All suspension bushes were renewed as were brake lines etc.

It’s super light weight so very quick and could make an ideal basis for a racer, track day car or just a real fun road car.

Also got some new GRP wings, some good 6” x 14” Revolutions and sundry other Sprint parts which could be included in the deal for a bit extra.

I got many bodyparts (doors, bonnets, spoilers etc.), many of which cannot be found like the original type of wings in plactic, bonnets . I also got the original cramshaft of this Ascona 400 with its 8 counterweights, a never rectified cylinderhead, connecting rods, original 400 pistons , 2 nude 400 blocks (unfoundable), many parts for front and rear axles, 2 Commodore C rearaxles (almost idem 400 évo2), complete escapes, shock absorbers,  12 wheels in 8 and 10X15, around thirty wheels in TRX (asphalt and forest) etc....
It was rebuilt from the FIA group 4 card( 666 ) which contains 29 extensions. I chose to  rebuild it obviously as the maxi group 4 in 1981. Seats, harness, manos, steering wheel, electric bundle: everything is new.
